Ibu constructions...(101 domesday)

the whole class gonna build a big dome... so each of us will make the structure (strut). i was in section 2, group 2 (or B), my struts are 2.284meter long and i need to have 2 strut. so here's the process.

24th september

27th september


the saw

kikir thingy... i dont know what it is called but its for trimming the connector

pen knife..., parang and kikir

for slicing the bamboo

using kikir and pahat to slice the bamboo into smaller size..

this is how it looks like

the part that are too thin, i used a stopper bamboo to make the structure stronger..


28th september

2nd badge tube arrived

making the mark...

cutting it...we need to cut 6

give to the X man to cut it into one piece

trimming the connector

burn the connector...

flatten the connector...


30th september

fit in the connector to both side of the bamboo.. this part was a bit loose. so i use small pieces of bamboo to strengthen the grip.

1st october - assemble...



all section 2 assemble...

phew.... after bringing all the bamboo the assigned place..

connect the bamboo with screw..

discussing what to do next... as we dont have enough space..

fixing the other struts that are still lose... we differentiate all the struts according to groups.
